The Google Analytics interface samples data and compresses it after a period, so detailed questions cannot be answered there. A BigQuery connection streams raw event data into your own warehouse and lets you query it with SQL without limits. Here we set up the GA4 to BigQuery connection, make the schema readable, and leave behind ready-made queries and table views for the questions you ask most. Advertising cost and CRM data can be combined in the same warehouse.

What's included in Google BigQuery Setup?
GA4 Connection
A daily export from GA4 to BigQuery is configured, landing raw, unsampled event data in your warehouse.
Schema Flattening
The raw GA4 schema is deeply nested and hard to read. We build views that flatten commonly used fields into simple tables.
Cost Data Blending
Spend data from Google Ads and other platforms lands in the same warehouse, so revenue and cost meet in a single query.
Ready Query Library
Working queries are delivered for common questions: channel conversion, funnel drop-off, cohorts and lifetime value.
Cost Control
BigQuery bills per query. Partitioned tables and query limits keep the bill from running away.
Access Management
Who can reach which data is defined, separating raw data from shared views.

Does BigQuery cost money?
You pay for storage and querying as you use them. For small and mid-size sites the monthly cost usually stays low, and we control it from the outset with partitioning and limits.
We do not know SQL — is this useful to us?
It is, but not on its own. That is why we leave ready queries and table views; your team can use them without writing SQL or connect them to a visualisation tool.
Will our historical data be included?
No. The connection streams data from the date it is set up and cannot backfill. That is why setting it up early matters if you expect to need it.
Where is our data stored?
In your own Google Cloud project, in the region you choose. The project and billing are in your name; we access it only for setup.
